Conscious Eating
It's interesting to note the different health conscious food groups we have: vegetarian, vegan, organic food, non GMO food, etc. I wonder how soy (or other plant proteins) based imitation meat can be better than fresh food in its natural form. Are there preservatives or other additives in packaged food? I understand that vegans are conscious about saving animals, in addition to eating healthier. At the soul level, animals are here to serve humanity, as food, companions, tools, teachers, etc. to give us their unconditional love. Humans are the ones most in need of love in the universe. Organic food only means that no chemicals are used in the growing process. Whether the food is more nutritious or less, depends on the DNA of the food. I like the concept of non GMO food.
