What is fear?

Fear is a biochemical feedback. It tells you what are the underlying beliefs and values that create your emotion. All positive and negative emotions are biochemical feedback of your underlying thoughts and experiences.

The purpose of fear is to warn you of danger. It is meant to protect you. But some fears can prevent you from achieving your goals.

Take fear of public speaking for example. It is a fear that you don't need. So to remove it, you remove the underlying thoughts that create it.

When I was a child, I had no voice. Everything I said was wrong. If I said something that my mom didn't like, she would say I was lying. If I insisted, she would throw something at me. When I told my dad, he would blame me for lying. So two against one. So I learned to shut up. I learned not to be assertive.

This behavior continued into my adult years.

I went back to my childhood days, specifically to those events containing a very strong energetic imprint. I released the emotions, and replaced them with positive thoughts. This is how I change my past.

I will give you an opposite example, one that illustrates the absence of fear. I was hitch-hiking in Israel. 1) I traveled alone. 2) I was in Israel alone. 3) I hitched hike alone. These are all the things that I shouldn't do, but I did, alone, without pre-planning. Why? I did not have any underlying thoughts and beliefs to hold me back.

People say that I am brave. But I'm not. To have courage, you need to first have fear. There's a difference between the presence of courage, and the absence of fear. When you have opposing forces within you, you have stress.

We are the prisoners of our own thoughts, beliefs, values, past experiences, etc. We have the choice to liberate ourselves by removing things that don't serve us. And we have the choice to fill the empty space with positive thoughts, which are the ingredients we need to move forward, to achieve successes, or whatever we desire.
