A while ago, I mentioned to my friend that I had this idea of taking one picture with my darling every day, to record our time together while we slowly grow up and grow old.  :) :) :)

Recall the shooting resulting in 12 deaths from the Batman movie at Colorado? For those of you who don't read Chinese or did not read the posting of my third letter, here's what happened yesterday. I was trying invite a friend to a movie.  He was very picky, on the choice of theatres and choice of movies.  He recommended that Batman movie.  I was not convinced.  So he said, per the shooting incident, "You see, people are dying to watch this movie." {{ # _ # }}

For some reason, I can't stop taking pictures of Jia Jia.  He is forever cute!  Sometimes I would browse through his photo album on my screen, with him sitting next to me.  Very crazy isn't?  { # _ # } First photo was taken today, with the treat from our neighbours who will be evacuating their space soon.  I don't drink double double, especially not a large one.  But I gave it a try for the first time this morning.  It was good.  I didn't get palpitatious. Second photo was taken perhaps a week or so ago, when I went to work pretty much fresh-faced.

He called in the evening.  I asked him what he was doing. He said, "I had just finished showering, now sitting on the couch, and ready to go to bed soon." I said, "Ah?  You got home early today?"  Surprised, as he was supposed to work past midnight. He said, no, that's just my hallucination. I said, "Aww, that's too bad."  I was looking at Jia Jia while chatting with him, so I said, "I wish Jia Jia could be there to keep you company.  I am sure he would cheer you up." He said, "No, I prefer to have you accompany me instead.  Jia Jia, it's okay." I thought, aww, that's so sad.  Jia Jia is unwanted and unwelcomed.  :(  :(  I said to Jia Jia, "It's okay.  If no one loves you, then I will just love you more."  { ^ _ ^ }

Need to capture pictures of myself ... because I find that I rarely have enough.  taken in August 2010 and Christmas 2010.

I would like to formally introduce my darling Jia Jia to everyone, although most have already known of him one way or another.  Jia Jia was from Hong Kong Ocean Park.  He flew to Canada in 2008.   He has a permanent full time job, with a work-if-he-wants schedule.  He spends most of his time supervising his two underlings.  He has a girlfriend, who was brought over from China by my first student during her Christmas 2011 trip.  He has travelled to Jamaica, and made a couple of friends there.  He is a very popular guy, with many friends and coworkers.  He is also socially active on the internet, having a Facebook profile with lots of his pictures on it. He is a very happy guy with a very happy life.  My first student commented that Jia Jia was the luckiest panda in the world, since he got to sit on Seven Mile Beach of Negril, Jamaica watching the sun set. I hope my darling will always be happy.  And I love Jia Jia.  Muah ~ ~ ~ ...

Jia Jia was saddened by one of the phrases in Yoshimoto's novel: "... stuffed animals are unsanitary ..."  (◕︵◕)
